Two decades of corporate finance, production accounting, tax credit engineering and audit experience across Canada’s film and television industry.
RICHARD RAGHOO
FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL LEAD
SENIOR PRODUCTION FINANCE EXECUTIVE
Richard Raghoo is a Senior Production Finance Executive and the Founder & Principal Lead of Six Eight Six Advisory Inc. Built on a rigorous foundation of corporate financial accounting, Richard brings a comprehensive financial perspective to the film and television sector. Unlike traditional production accountants who focus strictly on set-level bookkeeping, his background spans corporate general ledgers and year-end audit executions—giving him an elite ability to engineer financial frameworks that withstand regulatory scrutiny.
Over a two-decade career in British Columbia and the broader Canadian media ecosystem, Richard’s corporate finance background has directly fortified his hands-on production finance expertise. Across major studio slates—including Great Pacific Media, Thunderbird Entertainment, and Reel One Pictures—he has directed the complete financial lifecycle of more than 50 television features (MOWs), high-profile scripted series (Reginald the Vampire), and premier unscripted factual franchises (Highway Thru Hell, Heavy Rescue: 401).
By combining macro-level corporate accounting with granular, set-level execution, Richard provides independent producers and international studios with audit-ready ledger architecture, phase-by-phase tax credit estimation (PSTC, FIBC, CPTC), and direct Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) audit defense. Deeply committed to industry governance, he has served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for both the CMPA (Canadian Media Producers Association) BC Branch Council and Doc Northwest.

CORPORATE DISCIPLINE.
PRODUCTION EXECUTION.
Richard's approach is defined by the intersection of two financial environments: macro-level corporate accounting and granular, production-level execution.
By understanding both sides of that structure, he works with independent producers, Canadian production companies and international studios to develop audit-ready ledger architecture, phase-by-phase production tax credit estimates and defensible financial records.
His work encompasses Production Services Tax Credit (PSTC), Film Incentive BC (FIBC) and Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit (CPTC) environments, together with the production accounting and evidentiary infrastructure required to support regulatory review and CRA audit compliance.

THE PRINCIPAL-LED MODEL
SIX EIGHT SIX operates through a deliberately selective, principal-led advisory model.
Active engagements are intentionally limited so that complex production finance, tax credit and audit matters receive direct senior-level attention rather than being passed through a volume-based advisory structure.
The objective is straightforward: technical precision, uncompromised professional respect and direct accountability throughout the engagement.
TECHNICAL OVERSIGHT BEGINS WITH DIRECT ENGAGEMENT.
